Will Ezell qualified and played as an individual representing Austin High at Regionals held at Cottonwood Golf Club. After Day 1, Will posted a one under 71 and was in 2nd Place, then finishing in 12th out of 96 players. Will had one of only 6 rounds under par for the entire tournament. Go Maroons!!
Austin High Track and Field has qualified two outstanding junior athletes for the Regional Track Meet. Anna Carlson qualified in the triple jump and the long jump. Anna set a stadium and school record in the triple jump with a distance of 38'7" Eva Buck qualified in the 400.
Rafa Ramirez placed fifth in the 400. Daniel McCutcheon placed 5th in the 3200 while Tyler Sanchez placed 8th in the 3200.
All incoming freshman are encouraged to attend our Middle School Information Night at Austin High on May 11. The event will begin at 6pm in the gymnasium and will conclude with breakout sessions for every sport.
It will be a great opportunity to meet your future teammates and coaches.

Free Physicals for the 2015-2016 school year will be available from Austin Independent School District.
Physicals will be held on May 12 at Burger Center
Physicals will also be held on May 13 at Delco Center.
Student Athletes must see Molly or Josh in the training room to get the proper forms and all forms must be turned into the training room by April 24 to be eligible for the FREE physicals.

The Austin High Athletic Department would like to congratulate a fantastic group of seniors who will continue their playing careers in college. Six Austin High School athletes signed their National Letters of Intent in a wonderful ceremony in the Maroon Room. Madison Tumicki will attend St. Edward's University and play soccer. Kristal Requejo signed with Coastal Bend to play softball. Men's soccer player Finn Hockey signed to play at Slippery Rock University. Three football players will be continuing their careers in college. Ian O'Brien will attend Millsap College, Grayson Olguin will play at Howard Payne, and Andy Day is going to Texas Lutheran. Please congratulate these student-athletes on a great high school career and good luck in college.

Day 2: JV/Varsity Tryouts will be from 9-11am & 2-5pm
